You’re speaking at PD+I 2015, what made you decide to get involved?
I have followed up on the conference for many years and I like very much the content and the speakers. That is why I wanted to get involved
What are you currently working on?
We run 5-6 projects at the same time. It is difficult for us to give too many details as most of them are confidential until they come into the market. At this moment we are working on several customer experience projects, we are working on a new system of digital signage, a new range of devices for the digital home. We just finished a new business class seat and we are starting a project to look into new opportunities in the energy sector.
Why did you become a designer?
Since I was 12 I wanted to study industrial design. I was spending many hours a week at home designing new cars and motorbikes. I liked drawing and solving problems.
Is there a designer or company you particularly admire and why?
Should you meet your heroes?
I think it is always good to meet your heroes and share with them your vision about design.
What product or design you wish you’d worked on and why?
I would like to work once in an electric car, as it does not have an engine, the package of the car, it could be completely different to what we are seeing nowadays.
What is the greatest challenge you face as a designer?
We need to get more awareness from the industry. Design can be very powerful it is a strategic tool if it is used correctly throughout organizations.
Can you describe Mormedi in 10 words or less?
We innovate through customer experience with a strategic approach.
