Lee Underwood

Lee Underwood is Head of Engineering for ELGA LabWater and is responsible for all areas associated with product development and design.
He is a Mechanical Engineer by training, and has focused on developing skills in management supported by a Graduate Certificate in Management from Kingston University.
During a career spanning over twenty years Lee has specialised in the design and manufacturer of water treatment equipment in the industrial, medical and laboratory environments.
Lee has a range of experience in project management and culture diversity and has managed development teams based in the UK, Germany, and the USA. Recently his role has been expanded to include managing the design and development processes of new business units within the parent company, Veolia Water and Solutions, with the objective of realizing new technologies and products with development teams based in Canada and Switzerland.
Innovation is one of the key strategies of the business and Lee has been instrumental in nurturing an environment that allows innovation to be encouraged, realised and celebrated.
